Tarifa is a beach town located on the southernmost coast of Spain. It is home to one of the biggest crowds of pro kitesurfers and hosts this year’s GKA Big Air Kitesurf competition. Be prepared to enjoy all the benefits of Tarifa and the region – partying with the kitesurfing community, drinks and tapas in the many beach bars around the kite spot, exploring Andalucía in a unique way, and of course a delicious culinary adventure each night!
Tarifa is the perfect mix of kitesurf, party, remote work, and adventure. With wind blowing from late morning until sunset (around 9 PM!), you can easily work in the morning and ride in the afternoon. Our schedule is designed for digital nomads, freelancers, and beach-loving adventurers. Wake up, log a few hours online, then head straight to the beach for 6+ hours of kiting, chilling, and living the good life.
We stay in cozy local apartments, cruise around in shared rental cars, and enjoy different dinner spots each night—from Andalusian tapas bars to beach parties. You’ll be surrounded by amazing people and a laid-back surf vibe.
And it’s not just about kiting—Tarifa offers day trips to Gibraltar or even Morocco, mountain e-biking, buggy rides, scuba diving, off-road 4×4 tours, chill beach days, and wild parties right after your session.

FAQ
Do I need any kitesurfing experience to join the trip?
Not at all! The trip is open to all levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to level up your skills, our certified instructors will tailor the lessons to your experience.
What’s included in the package?
The package includes 7 hours of group kitesurf lessons (4 people per group with 2 kites), accommodation, airplante tickets Sofia – Malaga-Sofia, breakfast, travel & health insurance, rent a car (fuel is not included in the package), and some fun local activities. Gear rental is also available if needed.
What should I pack?
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfy beach clothes. If you have your own wetsuit or kite gear, bring it along — otherwise, we will provide you with wetsuit and surf gear for the lessons.
How do the lessons work?
Lessons are 7 hours total, spread over several days depending on the wind and weather conditions. We closely follow the forecast to make the most of each session — everything is wind-dependent, so timing can shift to ensure you’re learning in the best and safest conditions. You’ll be in a group of 4 students sharing 2 kites, giving you time to rest, observe, and rotate without pressure.
Can I join the trip even if I don’t kitesurf?
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to come along just for the vibes, the community, and the adventure. If you’re not taking the kite lessons, we’ll simply exclude them from your package price. It’s all about enjoying the trip your own way!
Can I join without kite lessons if I am already an independent rider ?
Definitely! If you’re already riding, we’ll exclude the lessons from your package price. You’ll have the freedom to kite on your own and vibe with the rest of the crew — sessions, sunsets, and good times guaranteed.
What’s the vibe like?
Chill, friendly, and full of good energy. Expect sunsets, beach hangs, group dinners, and lots of salty smiles.
Who will I be sharing a room with?
We stay in shared houses or apartments — usually 2 people per room, and 2–4 people total per place. Girls stay with girls, guys with guys. We don’t mix unless it’s something you specifically ask for and we clear it with everyone involved. Got a friend you wanna share a room with? Just drop their name in the sign-up form and we’ll sort it out.
Can I get a private room?
Yep, solo rooms are totally an option! Just let us know in advance — there’s an extra charge, but we’ll hook you up with your own space if available.
